Spy results and building up Strength Speed Defense

I am now level 8 and been in the game a few weeks. My speed/defense/strength around 8,000 each. I searched/spied for another pirate to bloody my sword on and I randomly found this guy:

Beyond doing my training several times a day when i can log on, searching and fighting our heartless enemies and others, getting my free bonus points, doing my gang crime, doing the lucky dip and dig, occasional gambling, and flossing between my rum drinking binges - how does one gain the strength/defense/speed of the scurvy dog mentioned above as fast as he did. It appears he is 184 days into the game and not been on for the last 63 days.

alright do you have a job to do in port. if not then go to the work button and get you a job. you may have to start from the bottom. that will help you out. second everything else you are doing fine on. appearantly he must have bought some points and awakes to train up with. that is the only thing or reason i can think of for him to be that high at that level.
